The Glenfiddich Pioneers was a national Cocktail Competition launched in 2013. Some of Australia's best bartenders were selected to devise two "pioneering" whisky cocktails, inspired by a famous innovator or entrepreneur. The prize for the winner was a trip to the Glenfiddich distillery in Scotland and all the finalists and their drinks were featured in the "Book of Cocktails" that was given as a gift with every purchase of Glenfiddich 12 Year Old over the Christmas period across Australia. Storm Creative were tasked with producing the creative for the campaign that included press ads, web graphics, point of sale materials and the Glenfiddich Pioneers Book of Cocktails. I was responsible for developing the creative for the campaign, commissioning and directing an illustrator to produce the key visual of an illustrated map of Australia that featured landmark events and people from Australian history that I had chosen to feature. This key visual was used across all promotional materials that Storm produced and on the competition website.
